A fantastic ancient oak tree. Perhaps over 1,000 years old. It is approx. 13 metres in girth!!!

If you think about it...it's amazing how many things these trees have seen. And how brief our lives are.

South Africa has an interesting tree, in the noerthern province of Limpopo called the BAOBAB tree. Never seen it, but my mom comes from that area and i have seen the photos of it in the magazine. It is HUGE - very amazing.
