How to enjoy a Sponsored Guide
Echoes and walks
Sponsored Guides provide FREE audio guide services to all its visitors. Audio guides are made of echoes and walks:
|
|
|
Echo: audio clip that is associated to an exact location or real world object and provides interesting information about it.
|
Walk: group of echoes that tell about a common thread and can be listened to one after the other. They may be linked by a common topic or define a path the visitor can follow while listening to them.

Use your mobile phone
Sponsored Guides deliver echoes straight to your mobile phone. Listen to them as if you had a guide by your side.
You have several ways to listen to the echoes with your mobile phone:
A. Launch woices application on your smartphone
If you have a smartphone with GPS, you can install the woices application and start scanning around to detect any nearby Sponsored Guide and all it echoes. Then play the echoes at their exact location.
B. Point your mobile browser to the Sponsored Guide web address
Launch your mobile phone browser and go to the Sponsored Guide mobile portal. There you will find the list of all echoes available and can play them.
C. Input the e-code and jump to listen an echo
Every echo has a unique e-code (echo code) that you can use to play it at once. Go to the mobile Sponsored Guide portal (or the main mobile woices.com portal) and input the echo in the search form to jump to and play the echo. Sponsored Guide owners can make that easy to you by placing a tag listing the e-codes next to the object of interest.
Download them all!
If you do not want (or cannot) use your mobile phone there is still another way of enjoying a Sponsored Guide. You can download all echoes as mp3 files and load them into your favourite mp3 player. Do that in advance from a PC and bring the player with you to the Sponsored Guide.
